If you buy disposable CBD vape pens wholesale, the first thing to get straight is what you are actually buying. We develop the empty hardware and coordinate production through qualified manufacturing partners. Your oil, your filling, and your compliance stay on your side — or with your licensed partners. That is not a small detail; it decides which models make sense, how you compare suppliers, and where the responsibility sits if anything goes wrong. This guide walks through the model, capacity, and battery decisions from a hardware-development and OEM/ODM project-management point of view, using the eight models we currently offer as real examples.
We are Shenzhen Pulse Technology, a vape hardware product development and OEM/ODM solutions company in Shenzhen. We have worked in this industry for more than 10 years, and we sell hardware only — we do not supply or fill oil. Here is how we advise brands and distributors to pick their first wholesale order.
1. Know the hardware-only boundary before you look at models
In the disposable CBD vape wholesale market there are two very different offers. Some suppliers sell you a filled, ready-to-sell product. Others — like us — sell empty hardware that you fill through your own licensed process.
Hardware-only is not a limitation on what you can do. It is the structure that keeps compliance under your control:
- You choose the oil. Nobody else decides your formulation, your supplier, or your quality bar.
- You own labeling and rules. CBD rules vary by state in the US and by country in Europe. Keeping oil and hardware separate means one supplier is not deciding which rules you can meet.
- Your responsibility is clear. If a finished product has a compliance issue, you want a clean paper trail — not a factory that also mixed your oil.
That is why our answer to “can you fill it for us?” is always the same: we build the pen, you manage the oil. If you are comparing cbd disposable vape suppliers, ask this question early. A supplier that insists on doing everything for you may be solving a problem you did not ask about.
2. Match capacity to the market you sell into
Capacity is the first practical decision, because it sets the price point, the shelf position, and the buyer profile. Across our eight current models, capacity options run from 0.5 ml to 5 ml — plus one dual-tank design. Here is how we see each range used:
0.5 ml and 1 ml — sampling, events, and price-led SKUs
Small formats suit first-time buyers, promotions, and price-sensitive shelves. Our D121 is a slim pen in 0.5 ml or 1 ml with a 210 mAh battery, PCTG housing, and Type-C charging. It is the model we recommend when you want an entry-level disposable that still runs on our tri-channel ceramic core. If your shelf needs a metal-shell look at the same size, D020 is the 1 ml aluminum-body option with a 260 mAh battery.
2 ml and 3 ml — the daily-use workhorses
Most reorders in the wholesale market land here. D010 is a 2 ml aluminum-body pen with a 280 mAh battery and adjustable airflow — a solid choice for daily-use lines. D023B gives you 3 ml in a slim 116 mm body with the same 280 mAh battery. For buyers who are not sure which size their channel wants, D064 ships one pen in four tank options (1, 2, 4, or 5 ml), so you can test a market without committing to four different SKUs.
5 ml and smart screens — bigger formats with visible features
If your channel sells larger formats, a 5 ml pen with a smart screen changes how the product reads on the shelf. D133 is 5 ml with a 260 mAh battery; D135 offers 3.5 ml or 5 ml with a larger 350 mAh battery. The screen shows basic usage feedback, which helps premium positioning. For a different kind of differentiator, D160 holds two tanks of 2 ml each with a flavor switch — one pen, two flavors, three voltage levels.
Eight models is our current main line. The full catalog runs past 20 models, and every one is hardware only, built around a tri-channel ceramic heating core, and customizable for your brand. If you need the complete list with pricing, request the full catalog — we do not publish it publicly.
3. Battery, charging, and what your customers actually notice
Capacity decides how long the pen lasts; the battery decides whether the last day is still pleasant. Battery sizes across our line run from 210 mAh up to 350 mAh depending on the model and format. Three things matter more than the number alone:
- Type-C charging. Every model we currently ship charges over Type-C. Your end customers already carry the cable; one less thing to explain.
- Consistent power output. A battery that sags mid-use changes flavor and vapor. We use a Pulse battery with stable discharge, paired with our tri-channel ceramic atomization, so the draw stays even from the first puff to the last.
- Airflow and activation. Models with adjustable airflow (D010, D023B) let users tighten or loosen the draw. Inhale-activated models are the norm in disposables; some models also offer a button and preheat for thicker formulations.
If you are choosing between two otherwise similar pens, ask what heating core sits inside and how the battery is managed — those two parts drive most of the “it started tasting burnt” complaints.
4. How wholesale ordering actually works with us
The process is the same whether you buy 3,000 pcs or a full container:
- Brief. Tell us the format, capacity, quantity, and where you sell. You do not need a finished design.
- Solution and samples. We usually come back within about a week with a plan, then arrange samples so you can test the hardware with your own oil.
- Production. Standard orders take 20-25 days. MOQ is 3,000 pcs per model, and payment is 30% deposit by T/T with 70% before shipment.
- Quality control. New models go through three stages before full production: the first 100 units are tested at our partner lab in the US, the next 200 go to partner brands for real-use testing, and the next 500 move through partner retail channels for end-user feedback. Regular batches are checked against written procedures before packing.
- Delivery. We ship by sea or air to the US and Europe, and we keep sample units of our main models at a partner warehouse in the US so trial orders arrive faster.
If you are importing from China for the first time, you can also arrange a factory visit or a live ZOOM tour before you commit — just reach out through our contact page. Seeing the line and the QC records is the fastest way to confirm a supplier is real.
5. The checklist before you place your first wholesale order
- Is the supplier hardware-only, and is the oil/filling boundary clear in writing?
- Does the capacity match the market you sell into — or are you guessing?
- What battery and charging does the model use, and what heating core is inside?
- Are MOQ, lead time, and payment terms confirmed in writing?
- How is QC structured — who tests, how many units, and at which stage?
- Can you get samples and test the hardware with your own oil before scaling?
Disposable CBD vape wholesale is a repeat business. The supplier who answers these questions with specifics — and who keeps compliance on your side — is the one you can scale with.
