Most first-time buyers ask the same question in different words: what actually happens between “I am interested” and “the goods are on a pallet”? Here is the sequence we run, in the order it happens.
The sequence, in order
Step 1 — samples come first, and they come fast
Sample lead time is 2-8 days; 5-7 days if paid logo printing is required; blank (white-label) hardware can be dispatched to your nominated forwarder in 2-3 days.
Sample cost and freight are paid by the customer. We do not publish amounts; the amounts come in your quotation.
Step 2 — the model you sample is not a prototype
Every model clears a quality qualification once, before we offer it. Once per model — not once per order: that qualification is not repeated for the orders that follow.
The qualification runs through its stages in sequence: in-house bench validation in China on pure VG, then a US third-party laboratory, then partner brands who test the units with their own real oil formulation, and then designated channel trial sales. Only when every stage passes do we offer the model externally as a sample and open it for mass production and OEM. If a stage fails, the model goes back for design changes or electrical changes, and the sequence runs again.
The design and the tooling behind the model are ours: the design is developed in-house and is not licensed to other manufacturers, and we own our own tooling (private moulds).
What that means for you: the qualification work sits with the model, not with your purchase. Your production lead time does not carry a test programme, because you are ordering a model that has already cleared one. The production lead time itself is in Step 3.
Step 3 — first order quantity and production lead time
MOQ: 3,000 pcs for a first order. Production lead time is 20-25 days for a standard order with custom branding. Very large volumes take longer, and we tell you against your actual quantity.
Step 4 — packing and carton marks
Factory packing is neutral and unbranded. Custom retail packaging is designed and produced by your own suppliers — we can refer packaging partners we work with.
Master cartons are marked so that the shipment can be checked before it leaves the factory. Here is a real example from one of our shipments: D135-BLACK, QTY: 200 PCS, GW: 11.8 KG, MEAS: 54.3 × 30.4 × 44.5 cm.
Step 5 — payment and price term
Payment: 30% T/T deposit to start production, 70% balance before shipment. Price term: EXW Shenzhen. You usually nominate your own forwarder, and we hand the order over at the factory.
Step 6 — the paperwork side
A lithium-cell hardware shipment also has a document side. That subject has an article of its own: battery paperwork and customs clearance.
What we are not
Scope: empty vape hardware only. We do not supply, fill or sell oil, nicotine or e-liquid. You fill the hardware with your own oil. We cannot legally test with controlled cannabinoid formulations inside China, so our in-house work runs on pure VG, and the customer validates their own formulation on the samples we send.
